Visa Application for European Scientists

For European scientists wishing to attend the Symposium, letters of invitation in support of visa applications will be sent following receipt of your hotel booking form (with the required passport information provided).

Because the procedure for issuing invitation letters will need nearly one month, please send your completed form by no later than 25 April 2018, to ensure your attendance of the Symposium.

To obtain a visa, please note carefully ALL of the following:

• Look up on the web your nearest Chinese embassy and visa office for opening times, location and fees etc. [most are located in capital or large cities]
• Check carefully the procedures and documents required to make a visa application
• Apply to the visa office using the letter of invitation provided by XUST and request a BUSINESS visa along with all other required documents and your passport, including fees etc.
• Please ensure that you apply for a visa at least one month ahead of your departure
